Peugeot 106 pick-up Gruau - 1996

Espace Sbarro students in the 1995-1996 class had three projects to complete in one year: a concept car (Issima), the design of a leisure vehicle (Atlantis) and the transformation of a production model (Peugeot 106) into a pick-up truck.

The 106's lengthened wheelbase provides ample space in the rear.

106 lengthened

The Peugeot 106 XN's wheelbase has been lengthened by 26 centimeters. The entire rear section is encapsulated. The composite body offers four seats, even with the option of carrying mountain bikes. A hardtop or soft top can be fitted. The trunk door folds down to accommodate two mountain bikes. The front wheels are disassembled and, like the rear wheels, are recessed into a groove and held in place by a metal bar. Clever and quick to install.
Two ATVs can be installed in the rear of the 106 without sacrificing seating space
In brief
1- Leisure pick-up based on the Peugeot 106 XN
2- Transporting two ATVs without sacrificing interior space
3- The coachbuilder considered producing this vehicle
