GTR - 2003

After the presentation in 2002 of the GT-HDI diesel sports coupé, the same Espera students from the 2002-2003 class extrapolated a much more restrained competition version, the GTR

An evolution of the GT-HDI, the GTR is much more aggressive.

V6 petrol

Based on the GT-HDI, the Sbarro GTR inherits the superb bodywork of its civilian sibling and a powertrain more in keeping with its ambitions. A 3.0-liter V6 engine (gasoline this time), still located in the rear mid-position, delivers 220 hp. Surprisingly, the gearbox is automatic.

Crystal-clear taillights, large spoiler, extrarctor, central dual exhaust: the rear end has evolved considerably compared with the GT-HDI.

Evolution

Aesthetic differences with the GT-HDI include, in no particular order, crystal taillights, a gigantic spoiler, a longer wheelbase and a width of up to 2 meters, an air extractor under the rear apron, additional air intakes at the front and sides, an openwork front hood, small rearview mirrors, new six-double-spoke wheels and a blue hue that blends better with the car's lines than gray. The elytra-shaped doors are always a real eye-catcher.
