Sbarro 500 SEL - 1983

When we think of Mercedes and Sbarro, we think mainly of the famous Gullwing. But Sbarro also worked on the 500 SEL sedan, one of the most modern sedans of those years.

Improvements

This is a far cry from the colossal work required for an SEC with gullwing doors. Here, Sbarro adds a polyester body kit to the car: rocker panels, front and rear skirts, slatted grille. Quite simply, this is high-end tuning. The model illustrated in the car's presentation brochure also features thin-spoke wheels. The brochure states that "on request, we can offer you a wide choice of fittings, colors and accessories."
