Miles

The second prototype of the Espera 2017-2018 promotion, Miles, is inspired by the Indy Car cars that raced on American oval circuits between 1960 and 1970.

The Miles is superb. The design and colors are magnificent (photography by DDS photograph for UTBM/Espera).

Indy Car

This two-seater concept took 40 days to complete, from drawing board to final prototype. The Miles is powered by a 300 hp BMW supercharged in-line six-cylinder engine.

Espera loves single-seaters

The Miles is a new single-seater created by Espera students. Espera single-seaters have often been inspired by old competition cars: Grand Prix in 2014, Miglia in 2015, Rush in 2017. While the Rush was very European in its styling, the Miles has a distinctly American feel. The BMW engine could have been replaced by a larger, more appropriate V8. But with 300 hp, there's no shortage of power.
