Seb Millenium - 2001

T

he Seb Millenium coupé, exhibited on the Sbarro stand at the 2001 Geneva Motor Show, is a classically styled sports car by comparison with some of Sbarro's past creations. It has an air of Jaguar, yet its origins are American.

A Mustang lurks beneath this new bodywork

V8 and unusual wheels

Yet its underside hides a Ford powertrain derived from a Mustang SVT Cobra. The 4 valves per cylinder V8 engine develops 400 horsepower. The tires are no slouch: 18" at the front and 285/35 in 22" at the rear. Such a diameter in 2001 was exceptional.
Note the different diameters of the front and rear rims.

Wise styling

The bodywork is made of polyester, as usual at Sbarro. The front end, with its oval grille, is reminiscent of a Jaguar. The lenticular headlamps are topped by a body-colored longitudinal bar. The mirrors seem to originate from the hood boss. There is a single windshield wiper. The roof is fixed, but looks like a hard top. The rear pillars are pierced by four large holes. The rear end is massive, with four round lights and two large tailpipes.
