Cyrano Formule III

The Cyrano is a project carried out by five students at the Espace Sbarro in Grandson, Switzerland: a two-seater Formula 3 with simple specifications: power and lightness.

160 horsepower for just 400 kg, must be quite a ride.

Explosive performance

Powered by a 160 hp Yamaha R1 engine in a rear mid-engine position, the Cyrano, whose total weight does not exceed 400 kg, is a true extreme-performance racer. The bodywork isn't as simple as it looks: a fin worked into the sides, a large fin at the rear for strong downforce, and that distinctive, elongated front end, like a huge nose? Hence the name: Cyrano!

The rear spoiler is huge

Inaperçue

Unfortunately I couldn't find many photographs of this Formula III, overshadowed at the Geneva Motor Show by the much-publicized Turbo S20. If you have any information on the Cyrano, please don't hesitate to contact me to complete this page.
